  Ernestia Fraser 

Ernestia Fraser is a distinguished author, award-winning poet, and accomplished screenwriter known for weaving stories rich in humor and emotional depth. With a dual B.A. in English and Communication, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing: Screenwriting, she has established herself as a prominent voice in the literary and film communities. In 2011, her screenplay Inside the Fallen Moon earned first place in the Hollywood Black Film Festival International Storyteller Competition, leading to a screenwriting fellowship at the Writer’s Institute for Diversity in Los Angeles under the guidance of CBS Television Story Analyst Harrison Reiner.

Fraser continued to gain recognition, becoming a quarterfinalist in the 2023 ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenwriting Competition for her script White Raven (formerly Inside the Fallen Moon). Her literary works, Carnival of Love: A Tale of a Bahamian FamilyShallow Water: a short history of where I’m from, and The Island of Shelbie Mott are taught in high schools across her homeland, The Bahamas. In addition to her writing, Fraser dedicates her time to educating others as an English instructor and creative writing coach at EverythingEnglish242, which she founded.
